AOH Update

Here is a photo of my completed piece.  I absolutely love all the Blackbird designs.  They seem to have a timeless appeal.

I'm showing a close up of the last block.  I changed the saying to "Families are like samplers, Stitched together with smiles, tears and love".  You probably noticed that it is dated 2011, when in fact I actually finished it very early in 2012.  After putting most of the work in on this piece in 2011, I wanted to indicate when all that work took place.

  13. Beautiful AOTH, Jane! We live in Jefferson City, MO and have a daughter who goes to school in Columbia.

Between cross stitching, needlepoint, hardanger, and quilting you must stay very busy. I totally love the quilt pictured in your header.

I enjoyed meeting Jen a short while ago during her trip to Phoenix. What a lovely daughter you have! You must be so proud of her.

  18. It's absolutely stunning, congratulations on a marvellous finish. I am only stitching a few of them individually but am curious as to the size when they are all stitched together.
